It is said that when people are told they are going to die, they see things differently. That was certainly the case with me. I came out of the hospital and truly saw how beautiful the world was for the first time. How blue the sky, how green the grass. Everything looked more than real. To me, it still does. Hyper-real.
The robin’s redbreast provides so much colour in the garden as the flowers fade, and it’s song is also beautiful.
